It's becoming a 90's relic, and many 90's relics are on Boomerang at this time.

Remember when Boomerang was about classic cartoons? Now it's becoming CNToo(the network in the U.K.) here, only the name is different.

Anyway, this could be CN trying to get Boomerang into more television homes. It's in 24 million households and I'm sure CN wants to have the same number of households as Nicktoons.

Hooray! It's so hard to find Pokemon DVDs from the earlier seasons, and they're hardly shown on reruns anymore. Thank you Boomerang!

*still hoping for a boxset someday*

Yay for showing old seasons. Took long enough. Not that I'm going to watch them or anything.

They're releasing a box set of the first season this Fall.

Add in the two DS games coming out later this year and the Pokemon game for the Wii.

Btw the Wii game has an interesting ability namely if you have a DS with either of the two pokemon games in it the monsters from those games will be displayed in 3D on your tv screen. You then use your DS to control the monsters in fights against the cpu or a human player.

Wow, that's sure a lot better than the Nintendo 64's (and Gamecube's?) ability to do the same thing.

And here I thought that Nintendo had admitted that the whole "connectivity" thing was a mistake.

More boomerangs!

Don't hold your breath. Too bad I don't get Boomerang. Then, I could re-watch the Pokemon episodes that were actually good. But I still miss watching Pokemon reruns on Kid's WB on weekday afternoons. I miss cartoons on local networks on weekday afternoons in general, though. Does this mean Boomerang is going to switch from being a retro network to a rerun network? Will they start airing other cartoons from the '90s like how Nick-At-Nite has started airing '90s sitcoms? I hope they'll start airing cartoons like Animanaics, Freakazoid, Swat Cats, Captain Planet, Batman:TAS, Batman Beyond, etc.

They're already doing that.
