Well, think about it...Pokemon X and Y: Male and Female. I think they're going to put the Lengedaries into genders now with the two different gender forms... obviously, this is a female Mewtwo based on the voice. |

I personally like Mewtwo's new form more than his old one. This Mewtwo is supposed to be the same one from the first movie, so is the voice the same? Or did they get a new voice actress?

This movie seems to be a big one. They're pulling out more stops than usual. Can't wait to see it online when it's posted in December. Is that at all confirmed? Because it seems like something people just made up.
Mewtwo hasn't been in the anime since like the year 2000, I could see him getting a new voice in all those years. Also, shouldn't it say "forme" in the title of this thread? |

Yeah, I question if this is even the same Mewtwo all things considered. The first chapter of the manga adaption of this movie was released recently, and there doesn't seem to be any connection to the past movies yet.

How many Mewtwos did Dr. Fuji create before he was offed? I thought he just made one. I guess Sakaki/Giovanni continued the project.

"Forme" is the correct terminology. However, the media appears to disagree in it being used in releases about it.
I don't see why they would do that since the the genders of the Japanese voice actors have changed since Mewtwo's last movie appearance. |
