Are we supposed to not know what we're watching unless the title is shoved at our face for the whole 3 minutes?

Nevermind. They're right, I have no idea what's going on.

So, when can we get it in the US? I really hope we don't have to wait a year for the dub version.

There had better be plenty of uncut footage to help explain what the hell is going on in this film.

You're in denial if you think it won't take at LEAST that long.

ever bit of news about this movie makes it closer and closer to being dubbed in english

but yeah, we'll probably going to have to wait until 2014 before we get the english version (it took the other ones 2 years to come out here)

Even when I did know what was going on in Evangelion, I didn't know what was going on.

And yeah, not sure why they decided to have the title there for the whole trailer. Not very appealing.

This is a BD/DVD promo. And maybe it's just me, but that's why this is a genius PV.
Only those who have seen the original series and this movie in theaters would know why, though.
These specific scenes... and the last scene... Anime hyper

Had this on pre order since March, so happy~

Quote:
King Records will offer the Blu-ray for 6,090 yen (about US$66) at retail, while the DVD version will retail for 5,985 yen (US$65). Each will come in Digipak packaging with a special box and a 66-page booklet. The first copies of each will also bundle an original soundtrack CD with Hikaru Utada's theme song "Sakura Nagashi."

WTH? From what I was told it only comes with soundtrack if you pre-order? Whats this about some booklet and special packaging?

Is this the revision with the coherent story that makes sense?
Oh.

Well, thought not.

On a more serious note, it's really hard to take all that visual assault of hard to discern the details. Back the hell up a bit, Khara.
No additional scenes this time?
Lame.

Its unknown if they added extra scenes, but they fixed up certain parts of the film with animation improvements and lighting effects

actually the last 30 seconds was a huge spoiler. I will not say of what but it should be easy to figure out.

Funimation still hasn't licensed it yet. So, from when they license it, it will probably be at least a year actually release it. Come on Funimation, what are you waiting for?

Ummmm...no. A "speedy" release would mean a crappy release. I'd rather wait and have a higher quality release.

What else should one wait to see? We are presented with a familiar cataclysmic enveloping redness, innumerable mechanical complexes floating aloft, a panoply of facial reactions, Eva units going about their frenetic engagements and telling glimpses of Anno's fanciful new eschatology. It is as if one's motive to watch the remaining film has been fully sated within three earthly minutes. Freude, schöner Götterfunken!
