I have those Sailor Moon World figures that came out early in the 2000s. This one totally blows those away with the details and posability afforded. Plus $45 is decent but I wonder how much that cost will go up.

I saw a Sailor Moon figure, once. It was actually a garage kit(?) model, so my Brazilian cousin three years my senior had to paint it.
And I accidentally broke it. I cried and felt so terrible that day. 
OT: is it at all debatable today regarding whether or not the Sailor Moon character designs will be changed in the upcoming anime? Or is this a moot pint, in that it will more than likely resemble the original character designs, or maybe even adhere more closely to the manga's stylings? |

Rule of thumb: When they take a long time to show off any info or character designs, its generally because there is a big difference from what people are expecting. |

I was under the impression the new anime would adhere more closely to the manga, both in content and art style. The manga certainly has more "willowy/wispy" (for lack of a better word) design than the 90's style we got for the first anime. I'm expecting it will become something like Brotherhood was for FMA; I can just imagine fans debating which is better. What I'm curious about is when we'll see some official art, previews, etc. This is supposed to be a summer anime (dear god, let crunchyroll get it!), and we have yet to receive any details on it aside from some announcements. Is it even close to being ready to premiere? :/ |
