http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1450575711/sorako-a-manga-about-nothing?ref=recently_launched

6000$ is needed to bring 'Sorako' manga in print.
Anybody here that will help?

seems like you have to sink $40 before you even get the manga, maybe 7-8 years ago id have done that but these days i gotta maximize my manga buying power buy getting the cheapest stuff i can scrounge up. Some day i'll get back to my old frittering form.

shame though id love to be able to support people who want to publish.

Gen manga has been publishing. This is their first kick starter.. so any anime/manga fan should at least throw $3 for this company. $6000 is seriously not a lot of money, and if this company doesn't raise that then I am pretty disappointed.

But I don't want that series. Nor, looking at their website, do I want anything they publish. :/ I'm not much for seinen or alternative stuff.

I mean, it sucks to see companies fail their Kickstarter, but at the same time-- I don't feel any sort of obligation to back manga-related projects just because I like manga. And if your biggest argument is "back this project, you owe it to MANGA," what does that say about the actual company?
