This doesn't really suprise me, since Nintendo decided to enter the anime market we'll probably see more of their series being made into either movies or series some time in the future...

I expect it to be a children's movie. I could imagine something like that, what with the animals and all, and I can see the art being very similar to the game, a la Viewtiful Joe, since the graphics are rather simple. I don't expect the movie to be something aimed at teens and up, but you never know. It could be some ultra-violent killing rampage or something... |

I love Animal Crossing, but...a movie? I'm not sure...wouldn't that be a little...boring?
..I mean, maybe it could work. If they did a sort of...My Neighbors The Yamadas or My Neighbor Totoro style, maybe they could pull it off. Though, it seems a little...odd. But hey, I won't completely judge it until reviews start coming in... |

This was one of the last games I was thinking was going to become an anime, but I really don't know what to think. I'm curious as to how it's going to be done, but I would definitely have to agree with Josh7289, I also expect it to be a children's movie.

It'll probably be a slice of life Anime, over a super cutesy thing. It'll probably be about a kid throwing away everything they have to move to a town and live in the "scary" real world. It may even have a romantic thing with a girl character.
But that's what I think it'll be about because that's what AC's about... well maybe not so much the romance |
