I was just wondering what skin you guys are currently using. Currently I am using the Goku one. Also, I was wondering, is it against the rules to request a skin that you would like made? If not, any skinmakers that read this could you please make a skin with Mugen from Samurai Champloo or Kaidoh/Ryoma from Prince of Tennis.

I tend to use the Angel Sanctuary-Exodus Skin when I'm on. I think its the best skin the site offers next to the Evangelionone. The green colors seem more homely than the blues do. Even still the Evangelion is the best since it really takes advantage of the show's thematics than most of the other skins do.

I use the default one, with the elf girl on top. I've tried other skins, like the Eva NERV one, but it just doen't feel like the ANN I've been visitting for the past year and a half without the default skin.
I would like a Samurai Champloo with all characters though, not just Mugen, even though I like Jin better, but also with Fuu and her squirrel. Nice. |

I use Either the clover or the NERV one. It depends on what kind of mood I am in. Usually it is in clover mode though. probably just because the picture is clear, I hate cloudy pics.

Isn't there a Feedback forum for this thread?
Anyway, I too use the Goku skin. For some reason, though, there's a blue line going through his face. I wonder if the coding is messed up or if it's just my computer. |

It took me a little bit to figure out what ya'll were talking about. But when I did some experiments, I did finally
 realize what was meant by "skins".
I tried a few but went back to the default one since she doesn't get covered up by the advertising banners. Some of the others did and that got on my nerves a little. Why mess with what worked in the first place anyway?!

I just use the ANN 5th Anniversary in Dark Blue. The color scheme seems to work the best and the ads don't look quite as messed up.

The default skin does get her body cut off by the ad banners. Right now the adult swim fix ad is covering from her boobs, down.
Do you guys remember the Fuccons skin? Talk about creepy. "Lucky" for me I was banned for a week on day 2

Right now its the Trinity Blood banner, but they don't cover the face. I like the faces better, on some of the others, the faces got covered or for some reason had a blue line down the middle like Alex K. mentioned. |

It's very rare that the banner ads interfere with the defaul ANN logo on my computer (if ever, now that I think about it.) It might be a display setting issue. When I checked out the skins yesterday, I noticed that most of the wrapped around and looked really bad unless a banner ad did a nice job of covering up the repeat image. I was a bit disappointed, I kind of wanted to change things up a little. And I remember the Fuccons skin. That was before I was using ANN very often though, so I didn't have to deal with it much before it was gone. That was kinda (very) creepy. |

Currently I stick to the default skin or the wolfwood or nerv one. Still I like keeping it in the default skin because I've just gotten used to it.

I used to use just the default one, which I believe is the 5th Anniversary - Dark Blue one. Today, I played around with them, looking for one that wasn't bright white in the background of the 'content'. The only ones I found that weren't too strainful was the Dragonball one and the Naru one. The Sandy Night seemed good until I saw the forum text was white. And the Nerv one was just the other extreme (white on black instead of black on white). I was using the Dragonball one until this thread, when 3dmk said that Naru was cleaner... and I realized that Naru had the side menu text underlined like the default skin does, so I moved to that one instead. I'd rather not have Naru in the corner, but oh well, I'm going for better on the eyes and the light blue instead of white helps.
Edit: Nevermind, I went back to the Dragonball one. While I prefer the underlined text that Naru has, I didn't like the light shade of blue it used for the Encyclodepedia/My Anime titles. |
