Hello,
I am looking for the name of an anime, that I think is called either "number 9" or "number 7"??? I have seen it on cartoon network, and I think even adult swim... it is about a group of people that each have a number... and each one has a special power or ability, but I think that for some reason they have each died? and some guy gave them the powers??? the main character was #9, I think that this series was called something else in japan.. I think it had kind of a 1960's look and feel for the animation. can you please help me with this anime name? |

I have a feeling you are thinking about Cyborg 009. Cartoon Network used to play it, and all the characters called each other by a 00-something number. Hope this helped!

Yeah, that's the one.
In the future though, you might want to use the "Identifying Anime" thread at the top of the forum. |

I remember that anime. I think it used to be on Friday nights at about the time they show Naruto reruns.
I don't know. Cartoon Network has done a lot of shifting around in their Friday lineup the past few years. One thing I do remember is that Joshua Seth did the voice of 009. Awesome voiceover! |

It also aired on Toonami weekdays and that Saturday night block CN showed before Toonami moved to Saturday nights.
Yeah, except for that one episode in which David Umansky took over the role of 009 for some reason. |
