Rock band Louis XIV has posted a link to someone on YouTube who did an excellent AMV of Full Metal Alchemist with their song "All The Little Pieces".
Check here! **WARNING: SITE CONTAINS REAR NUDITY** (but it's done tastefully) I think this is the first time a band's ever praised someone for doing this. Usually a band would be angry; and demand the AMV to be taken off. Really, has this ever happened before? EDIT: Here's a message from InsaneTeen: the person who made the AMV:

Actually, the same thing happened with an FMA AMV to a Kevin Max song. (Kevin Max is a Christian artsist, making it quite interesting that something of this nature would happen.)

First off, that is a pretty poor AMV. But never mind that -- what's more important is that it contains HEAVY SPOILER material for anyone who hasn't seen all of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Well, I remember at least this case: Kamelot (or at least their webmaster) were very taken with a Bastard! video made to their song "Karma", and linked it from their homepage.
(Slightly OT, but I'd say this AMV, while ok, is not the best of its creator (Rubyeye). He is responsible for the most outstanding war-themed AMV I've seen, with Gundam 08th MS Team set to "Tenth Man Down" by Nightwish (I suppose most people into AMV's already know this one). He has also made an excellent action AMV of the baseball series Princess Nine.) |
