Well According to the Encyclopedia it Say Mr.Good Old Blum is Playing Orochimaru!!!!? Tell me right!? Didn't he already play Zabuza! And then WHY!? Orochimaru of all characters!? couldn't they find someone else~? I mean Steven is a GREAT Frickin' VA but... OROCHIMARU!?

What I want to know is, why do they have a girl voicing spoiler[Orochimaru's disguise?] It sounds like Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, wasn't she Kurenai?

I just wish Cartoon Network would stop showing previews of the next episode during the current episode. Doesn't really effect me, but it still kinda bothers me that they would be doing that to the people that haven't seen these episodes yet. It was especially bad tonight when they were showing a preview four episodes away!
Anyway, I can't see Steven Blum working for Orochimaru, his voice is pretty deep and I doubt he can pull off Oro's serpentine voice afflictions. Maybe he'll surprise me, but I'm sceptical... The female voice nailed it, IMO, just the wrong sex. Emerje |

No, he was probably more like 16+ at that point. Yeah, Oro has a female voice until the disguise comes off. Canada's still an episode ahead of you guys, so they're at that point already. he certainly didn't sound like any of Blum's previous roles if that was him, although he is listed in the episode's credits, so it might be him. Actually, the gas-mask ninja in the previous episode sounded a lot more like Blum. |

Wow, he was the laughing man. I didn't recognize him there. Gee, you think he can act a little bit? I'm thinking he must be called upon to translate, or do script re-writes, besides doing VA work. Throw him a bone because maybe he gets better scale doing voice than writing??? |

I gotta say when i heard it i couldn't bleieve it, since people say Naruto dub sucks, well i gotta say then it rocks if it has, whom i would call the most charasmatic Voice actor on the planet at the momnet.
Really the Naruto dub is gonna be a worth a buy once it becmoes more main stream. Btw i think he uses the name David Lucas or he used to use the name David Lucas when he was under paid. But come Cowboy Bebop the movie he used his real name i think Steve Blum, for obvious reasons, since i am sure he was paid well for the movie. And after that i think people sorta found out his worth and value and the way he is able to increase the value of a dub as well. And not to forget the fact he can increase sales if he's in the cast list. Good for Naruto and good for him. |
