i remember reading that on EGM that it was a really good game, and they also said it willnever see a US release... hopefully they were on;ly wrong on one comment.

I'm not surprised, it seems like mainstream anime gets a lot of attention; Video Game, Movies, IPOD Skins, Toys and other fan stuff.

The story and gameplay looks good considering it takes place years before the TV series. The graphics aren't exactly the best, but it is still a good-looking game. I'm also a big fan of BanDai myself thanks to the .hack games.

I hope it's good. All I want is a game where I can ref like crazy, like SSX, only when you hit a button while falling you "catch" in mid-air.

I don't know about those screenshots. I think pretty much every anime-based game looks much better using cell-shaded graphics, and so far I'm not seeing the reffing, which is the most important part. The game should be like 80-90% reffing.
