Well I guess that's rather considerate of them. You spend 180 bucks and it's poor quality. Whenever there's typo's in FUNimation or Sentai releases, They're never fixed.

I don't think it was typos that are the problem. I noticed on the first disc there where two places were the subtitles were off because they had a line through them. You can still read it but it was a little distracting (not that I cared enough to complain or anything). Anyways I'm glad that they are fixing the problem, just one more reason why Aniplex USA is quickly becoming my favorite company
(and not that it really matters but it is only 150 if your order from rightstuf).

Wow, first time you didn't have to write in to get a replacement! It just comes to you easily

At the prices they are charging and the limited customer base they will have because of that, then NEED to offer replacements such as this.
Still, fair play to them. Usually it takes a mass tirade of abuse before replacements are offered.

It's nice to see an anime distrib acknowledge and act upon mistakes rather than just blowing them off.

That's strange. My set was missing a disc and Right Stuf told me they couldn't send a replacement disc; I would have to exchange the entire set for a new one.

Good to see Ol' Henry actually owning up to his mistake, but I still find it very unprofessional on their part to take a full three weeks before even acknowledging it, all the while completely ignoring everyone who e-mailed them about the problem and not even dignifying them with a response.
I mean, seriously. Just how "thorough an investigation" does it take you to put a couple discs into your player and realize there's a problem? It really speaks to AoA's lack of quality control as well. For a company that charges as much as they do, you'd think they could afford to double and triple check their products for any such problems BEFORE shipping them out to their customers.
Still, it's better than nothing I suppose. Kudos to Shawne K. for the excellent service from RightStuf in this matter.

Y'know I was already skeptical that something was going to go wrong. I hope that's the only problems. I just received my copy before I went on break so I haven't sat down and watched it yet. However my job ordered a copy. Now what are we going to do if there are problems after we mark it up for cataloging and stuff. Can you send that back? Cause most likely since it's taken from a strict budget it won't be replaced.
I hate hearing stuff like this. Because this set is a once in a lifetime buy.

Aniplex please kindly GTFO. After charging customers such insane money you dare have mistakes on the discs---F you is what I say, I don't even think Ill buy DRRR on blu ray from you for that price if you can't even ensure quality (that series is the only thing I want from them). Why don't you drop the prices first, then we'll talk and maybe forgive you for quality errors

You shouldn't buy the DRRR bluray from them anyways. It lacks a separate subtitle track for music and on-screen text, which makes watching the English dub a pain because you have to keep turning the main sub track on and off just to see what it says.
In DRRR's case, it's one of the few times where the DVD set is better than the BD set, as it does contain the extra sub track and the two music videos as well.
You know, for a company who prides themselves on offering items of higher "quality" than other distributors, they sure do botch things up a lot.

Just hope they package these replacement disks more appropriately than NISA does. They shipped the replacement Toradora disks to me (half a world away) in a paper envelope, no case or nothing. That they arrived intact, let alone undamaged, is miraculous.
