Not sure whether this should be in the bugs section instead but...

I recently tried to create a custom list called Live-action and the trouble is that I can't rate anything I put in that list. If I rate something in My Anime and move it to Live-action the rating gets deleted. If I keep a double entry in one of the regular categories and another in Live Action then the rating will show up (but I can't change ratings through the custom category).

Is this a bug or a feature? I would really like to keep live-action stuff completely separated from the regular categories so it's not particularly satisfying to have to rely on double entries.

If it's a feature, then could a regular Live-action category be created?

I'm keeping the list public for now with a couple of test entries in case that will help the Encyclopedia crew:

That's by design. The rationale is that you can't rate something unless you've seen it. So it has to be under "seen some", "seen all" or "will not finish". If you want to keep anime and live-action separate, maybe you can create an "anime" category and use that in addition to your "live-action" category? I know it's not the answer you want but I can't easily change the current behavior. And live-action shows are not exactly a major focus of this website...

So basically use Seen All as the catch-all list, and then have two custom lists, Anime and Live-action? Of course, Seen Some would technically pose a problem requiring a third custom list... Ah well, most of the live-action stuff is movies and I've always watched the J-dramas to the end so I guess it's a hypothetical question. Anyway, with no other way to do it...

Thanks!
