Another death? Man, this really is sad. In Cowboy Bebop, is the Antique Dealer the arabic guy in the movie? The one with the giant vase?

This is very sad news, indeed. Of all the deep-voiced actors, his was IMHO the best of the best. I loved him as J, as Duke David Mad-Thane in Last Exile, and as King Kou in The Twelve Kingdoms.

I best remember Bob as Rito Revolto on MMPR, Rito was such a goof/dufus, more so than Rita's other henchmen/woman(Scorpina).

Man, I used to MMPR when I was a kid. Until I was like 8 I was still watching Power Rangers because of how much I like MMPR when I was around 3.

Thank you for the great childhood memories Mr. Papenbrook.

RIP

Which is very bad because you have to figure he hadn't finished recording his parts for the third OAV (I assume the character is still used throught the series). I wonder if FUNi will be announcing a replacement?

He was in so many different things from anime and video games to live action shows. This is a huge loss, and I'm sure he will be missed.

He also voiced Deviot, the infamous, backstabbing, Galaxy-Book-theiving, robotic henchman in Lost Galaxy.

Holy crap. o_O

This is comes as quite a shock. He was in so many things too...it's really a damn shame. I thought he was pretty good in his assigned roles. =/
