This is just to satisfy my own curiosity, but, how does that happen? Is it that you just never bothered watching DBZ until a while ago, or possibly that you never even heard of it until recently?
I'm just shocked to see someone getting into DBZ only recently.

Yeah, I used to be a huge DBZ fan, in like 6th grade, but now it puts me to sleep. The only DVD's I bother purchasing, even now, are the movies. The movies don't suffer from the long periods of talking and threats about destroying the world. The first three are my favorites. I love the fact the fight scenes were actually choreographed, instead of Goku fighting "at lightning speeds that aren't visible to the human eye". I'll definatly try to see this in theatres if I get the opportunity. I've already seen all the DBZ movies though, but never on the big screen. I didn't think Bio-Broly was all that great, so I think you'd enjoy the rest of the movies a whole lot more.

You called?

Yes, I hate DBZ, but I don't go around looking for people who like it just to post and insult them. That would be called trolling. I certainly hope your not encouraging trolling. I could really care less if you guys like DBZ. If you enjoy it, then by all means watch it, no skin off my back.

I think that comment, "Bring On The DBZ Haters", is the trolling, you would just be retaliating to a troller.

I would like to recommend watching DBZ Movie 9. This is another of my favorite movies. The fight scenes, and pacing, make you wish the TV series was this good. Reminds me of why I love DBZ uncut so much better than the edited crap shown on TV... The Violence people. I usually don't trust the ANN fan ratings, or reviews by the staff, you should watch a series for yourself before you judge it. Any fanboy could place it under "Masterpiece", and any other person can call it "Worst ever", thats why I don't rate anime myself.

I'd watch if it wasn't just a midnight show. I don't even see Sick and Twisted anymore at that time.

I simply meant that whenever DBZ or any other popular anime is in discussion a lot of people tend to wholly disgree and thus bash the series for whatver personal reasons that they may have against it because it hasn't not seent he same exposure (it being in a movie theater and others never being given such advertising). I simply forsaw that yes their would be the ususal haters and that i welcomed their honest opinion on not why they hate it but (in a rational way) why it doesn't deserve to been seen in theaters. In no way did I purpose mean to start the war tat occurs when DBZ is brought up.

To get back on subject I simply wonder why they have decided to show bio broly IMO a DBZ movie of lesser calibur. I would show a movie such as Tree of Might (my fav) or World's Stongest which i feel is s better movie than Tree of Might i just pefer the previous. Bio Broly is good but not as good as the Bio on Goku's father at least in my opinion but i think Broly is a little longer so that may be why they picked it.

I could have, but I'm not going to drive 2 hours to see a film that comes out on DVD later this month, especially a DBZ film. I'll buy it and probably enjoy it like most of the other films but I don't really feel it's theater worthy. Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shambala on the other hand I'd see in a heartbeat if they played it, even though I've already watched it. It's just that great of a film.

hey guys hi I actually saw it

FunimationFilms.com lists the theatre near my area that got it (only a half an hour drive, thankfully) as "FRIDAY ONLY!", but when I checked the theatre's website (Harkins), they had one today (Saturday) and again on Tuesday listed, as did Moviefone.com (under "Dragonball Z"). So, make sure to check more than just Funimation's site when making plans in the future. I'm sure glad I did, I nearly missed out.

For the record, they showed The Return of Cooler before Fusion Reborn. Oh boy, Fusion is great. It's worth the price of admission for Goten and Trunks vs. Hitler alone.

I heard that there's a part where Gohan defeats the once-again-revived Frieza with one blow to the stomach and upon witnessing this, the entire Ginyu Force, who witnessed it from atop a building, decides they would rather die than fight Gohan and all jump off the edge, killing themselves. Is this true?

And how did FUNi handle Pikkon's cursing? Did they just make an uncut dub or did they replace the profanity with stuff like "Idiot!" and "Moron!" and other words that are insulting, but not coarse language?

They better have. I mean, Fusion's only about an hour long.

In the Japanese version of Movie 12, Paikuhan (Pikkon in the dub) does yell insults at the barrier. But, the Japanese language is not nearly as coarse as English. So he's actually shouting stuff like: "You stupid barrier!" and "Idiot!" and stuff. The harshest thing he says is: "Enma no kusojiji", which could mean "damn geezer" or "crap geezer". Anything worse, like "asshole" or "shit", then that's a poor fansub translation.

I believe in the dub, he shouts about the same stuff as the Japanese version. I.E., "idiot" and "stupid barrier."

And yes, for the record, spoiler[Freeza explodes with one punch from Gohan. Priceless...]
