AWESOME!This is a great song but it's already about Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide.

Ah, yeah, I saw this noted at the end of the preview showing of the first episode.
Paranoid Android's an awesome song, too ^^ I'm curious how they'll cut 1:30 of it together for the OP.

IIRC, this is the second time Radiohead were featured in an animated series. The band members voiced themselves in the South Park episode "Scott Tenorman Must Die."

The Radiohead song is NOT the OP but just the "main theme," as the news describes it as. The OP is actually the song by Monoral, and I don't think there has been any mention of what the ED will be on the official website.

"Main Theme" you say? So it's just going to act as background music in one form or another? Or will it just appear on the soundtrack as an unused song. Speaking of Radiohead, does anyone have any idea what happened with the deal for them to score the upcoming Richard Linklater movie "A Scanner Darkly"?

First Franz Ferdinand; now this!
Just this news alone makes me wanna see this show; and from reading the synopsis it seems to fit it quite well. I've known somewhere along the lines that Radiohead was gonna be involved in some sort of Japanese-related project (like a "Lain"-type of show [like that AMV]).
Plus Manglobe created it. Now I know it's gonna be great. And with Geneon USA involved, there's the guarantee that it's coming here!

This is really cool. I'd love to see this happen more often.
But honestly, I'm not going to see something like "Glycerine" in an anime, am I? ...I can dream at least.

The show hasn't even aired on TV in Japan yet, let alone licensed for release in the U.S. with release dates announced. Maybe you'll see the first volume on DVD in the U.S. in a year or two.

And the show has been license by Geneon for release in the U.S., just no release date. But if it's follow samurai champloo's structure, it should be here in the winter or early next year, once the series send it's run.

Glycerine is by BUSH not Radiohead!
I am pretty stoaked about Mangaglobe using Paranoid Android from Radiohead. OK Computer is one of the best LPs in a long time.

Now all we need is "Pyramid Song" to be retrofitted into THE END OF EVANGELION and we'll be set.
