have any of you even played the game? I have and I like it, if you get some of the ending its very sweet and nice. I've gotten the game in japanese first and I was dying to find out what was truly being said. When I found out it came out in english I was thrilled. And it did say that the game would be dark, angst, and stuff. But i say it has great graphics including the characters. i'm just amazed they actually release a yaoi game in the us. they may have yaoi/shounen-ai on dvd and books. You should give the game a chance and not just listen to some people who just trash it and say it sucks when you have never played it. I hate hentai games yet I still give it a chance. So before you start trashing a game, give it a play and if you still say it sucks then go ahead.

Actually the market is for women. BL games [the news release is a badly worded] can be dating-sims or interactive manga. In the case of Enzai it's like a click through interactive 'yaoi' manga. It's very sexual, but you must read the story and click your way through scenarios in order to get various endings, some good-some bad. In essence there aren't many 'yaoi dating games' I've seen that resemble the 'hentai-dating games' I've encountered. Women don't really interact in the same way men do with what is considered 'interactive porn'. It's not all visually pornographic; it's story driven. And can we all grow up a tad and stop belittling a genre because you think its Gay or Yaoi. Tina |

How does one accidently download an anime that's over 35 minutes long? And How can you not know it's Yaoi? Enzai? False Imprisonment? Sorry, not sporking but it just seems a bit fetched. You might want to Google a title next time before you DL it. It's a historical story set during the Napoleonic era about a young street rat whose set up for a murder he didn't commit. He's set up by a dubious prison warden and is placed into a 'yaoi' infested prison complete with all the stereotypes that prison tales contain from sadistic prison guard to ho-for-free prison friend. What you have to do is interact with the story and help the unjustly accused character stay out of trouble long enough to clear his name. -Tina |

thats true, how can you accidentally download something that is quite big. but still it just bugged me to see that people could start dissing a game that sometimes dont even play it. i understand after you played it and disliked it, I've done the same thing but not dis a game that i haven't played |

I'm not here to teach a class on Yaoi, I've done it so many times now... I suggest, if you really care what Yaoi is beyond your comical interest in this thread- to visit http://www.aestheticism.com/visitors/reference/index.htm It will answer your questions for you. We are participators in this spectator sport-it's all in the mind for women. ^_- G |
