If you missed it on Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network will re-air Spirited Away (dubbed) on Friday, February 3rd at 7 PM during Fridays.

sweet. I couldn't catch it on either times since I don't have TMC and didn't have a theater that played it.

Hmm, this is good news. I keep hearing about this but I've never seen it. I'll have to check this out... hopefully it won't let me down.

?_? goof up, what do you mean?
It'd be awsome if they aired other Miyazaki movies... You'd think they'd be kinda keen on them, being so good and child friendly and all.

Adult Swim hasn't aired any Miyazaki movies yet have they? I'm sorry but I can't exaclty remember the list of movies and OVA's they have already aired.

As far as them anime thats nothing really new. Spirited Away is too safe to really get a serious buzz going and it also carries Miyazaki's name which is too famous to really make anyone jump, ya know. If they aired something a little more PG and a little less famous maybe oe could say that there headed in the right direction. Until then I'm just going to have to watch it and hope that they at least have some anime/manga-themed advertising during the breaks.

They haven't, and they probably won't.

I wonder if it'll be edited? They normally make cuts for time, but I'm talking about digital edits, like erasing some of the blood from the scene when Haku gets attacked by those paper bird things.

Miyazaki won't let anyone edit his movies (outside of extremely small diolauge changes that don't effect the plot, i.e. "pouches"). CN tends to be more lenient with editting movies than shows, so it'll probably be uncut.

lol!
This is GREAT news! I've missed, sadly, the first two weeks of the Miyazaki festival! At least this will be quite a not-so-small consolation to watch the one Ghibli movie that won Oscars on its own.
Should I missed this thread, I wouldn't notice it on the CN scheduling and will miss it. Thanks, guys.
