Now this definitely might be worth a look. I wonder if this is that movie that was mentioned last year.
Basically, it was a monster movie but it was designed and directed to look like an old vintage monster movie. If this IS the movie, then I'm very surprised to find out that it's completely done in CG. Negadon: The monster from Mars I don't know how this is going to fare with US audiences but we'll see. |

Answer to my first post, yes this is the movie that was mentioned last year. After checking out the trailers I realized that I had seen it. However I did NOT know this film was completely CG. I definitely want to see this film now.
To the folks at ANN, I provided the links for this movie. There are two links. One in Japanese and one in English. Both connect back and forth. Last edited by Chrno2 on Fri Jan 20, 2006 9:49 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I'm just glad that CPM is licensing again. It was looking pretty scarce there for a minute (that's besides all the porn stuff).

a CG Kaiju movie? doesn't that kind of defeat the entire point?

Oh, I just found out something else about this film. Would you believe this film is only 25min? Now I can see why it won an award for best short.
Here's a page I found that some might find interesting. http://plaza.bunka.go.jp/english/festival/sakuhin/suisen/anime.html |
