I wonder who will be the main character, either Solid Snake or Big Boss

You know what would be awesome?
Screenplay: David Hayter |

I'm sure it'll be as good as all of the other video game films...
Yeah. |

This is gonna end well.
Only way it may be redeemed is if Hayter himself plays Snake, though I doubt they'd use him. |

I really like how you guys are putting so much faith into the guy who owns Marvel, and essentially greenlit the creation of Marvel Studios along with Kevin Feige...
Really inspiring of you guys. |

We've seen this song and dance before. Moving on until there's some real news like actor castings, set pics, etc.

I don't have faith in vidya gaem films. Comic books were proven in film in 1978. |

And this would be one of the guys who proved them well past beyond mere cult status. |

So, will Kurt Russell make an appearance in the movie? Maybe as Big Boss?

That'd be too perfect. |

He used to run Marvel. He retired from that and all other Marvel positions in 2006, though he still works on projects for them here and there. Anyways, I don't get the negativity. Guy's got quite a few good films under his belt. The problem with video game adaptations are not that they are video game adaptations. It's who's usually put in charge of them. |

He couldn't even do Spider-Man right and he wants to try Metal Gear Solid? Good luck. Given he adamantly rejected Spider-Man making jokes or throwing out quips in battle, he'd probably try to remove all the oddball humor from the series. |

Given how well received the first two Spider-man movies were I imagine a lot of people would disagree with you. Iron Man was fantastic, as were Blade 1 and 2. The X-Men movies were pretty decent.
