Hardly. The manga's been covering End of Eva for awhile now.
Still, it's taken 17 years...

Just remember guys that while I think this is true as in this is probably the estimate the editor or even the author of the manga says it will last, they were saying the same thing.. IVREA a publsiher in argentina even went as far as to stay that volume 13 was the last volume to be published (This WAS how it should been but seems like it wasn't enough for the material)
TL:DR don't be surprised if it doesn't end in volume 14.

Well, if this turns out to be true, there will be 5 omnibuses that Viz publishes, with the last one only having 2 volumes in it.

French Publisher != Japan. it will end in French, we don't know about Japan. This happy on other manga before. They ended a manga while it's still running in Japan. lol

If you've actually been reading the manga, given the point in the story that volume 13 ends with - Third Impact and Instrumentality have actually begun - it isn't very surprisingly that Volume 14 will be the last one. Its basically 20-30 minutes away from the conclusion of The End of Evangelion.

The news article title had me a little confused. I thought the article was going to say the mange would end in fourteen more volumes.

Man it's like this series has been around for ever. I mean from the time it was published and republished. Some vols are already out of print. Here comes vol. 13 after how long and now it ends. Well at least I don't have to worry about looking for more vols.
