Yes! It's so much better when I can just stream it instead of sitting and waiting for a legitimate release! Super excited for this one!

FINALLY. Thank god. I had given up on a legal stream since the 3rd ep comes out tomorrow.

No first season? Unless they have that too, you'll need to watch it somehow else to understand what's going on. There's zero explanation or catchup, not that it would help you.

That's how they roll nowadays I guess with Dog Days 2, Nisemonogatari, etc. They're probably making a safe assumption that many people have caught up via fansubs.
Funi got the live action TV version |

The correct time for the simulcast appears to be 1:35 PM EDT.
CR had that time listed on the series page, and just corrected their announcement in the Site News section of the forum a short time ago: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-769696/new-summer-titles-moyashimon-and-nakaimo-my-little-sister-is-among-them |

Dog Days is an exception, however, as they did state they will be getting the first series as well. Hopefully it will not be much longer. You could have also used Zero no Tsukaima F as an example, although from the moment it was announced as a simulcast, I knew getting 3 previous series was going to be darned unlikely. |

Not particularly a good thing for people who haven't seen the first season. It was such an obscure title in 2007 with NoitaminA also not being as big as it is now. The second season also jumps right in to a direct continuation with literally no background or refresh after a 5 year gap between airing.

That depends on your perspective. In Japan noitaminA was a much bigger thing when Moyashimon aired than it is today. Moyashimon has the third highest average rating of any noitaminA show, 4.56, behind Hakaba Kitarou and Nodame Paris-hen. Now the block draws ratings in the high ones and low twos. The first installment of Moyashimon/Natsuyuki Rendevous drew a 1.8; the following two episodes carded a 2.2. So you may think that noitaminA is a bigger thing now, but in Japan it's been the reverse. |
