I heard rumors that after the manga of monster that there is another story called "Another Monster" is this true or more importantly is this a manga or novel? Or more so does leave off after the manga or is it something completely different? Any information would be very helpful, thank you.

That novel doesn't exist (at least to my and the ecyclopedia's knowledge).

It really does exist.

It is a novel which showed off as a investigation report of "Johan incident" by Austrian Journalist
and 1 another new "Picture Book" at the end.
It explains some backgroud of Monster and creat new mystery.

ANN encylopedia's manga section is too imcomplete as a basis for unexistence.
It lacks even long running titles like

Nijitte Monogatari (110 volumes)
Yuuyake no Uta (3 chome no Yuuhi) (51 volumes)
Yokoyama Mitsuteru Sangokushi (60 volumes)
Asari Chan (78 volumes)
Patalliro ! (78 voulmes)

Yea I figured it wouldn't be in the encyclopedia since it wasn't a manga. Thanks Milcor1 too bad I haven't finished watching the series yet, but in due time I can finally come back to this. Does anyone know if this will be release after the manga (finally) concludes? Thanks

Monster final volume (18) was released Feb 2002.
Another Monster was released Jun 2002.
