Yū Kawanishi, a publicist for the film, said that the action and battle scenes appeal to the male audience, while the female audience watch for the relationship between the main leads Kotetsu and Barnaby, distilled from the 25 episodes of the television series.

She be dum.

I watch it for both.

Anyone have any idea who the people are watching along? That aspect of Japanese TV is something that always fascinated me. Just imagine Meryl Streep watching a trailer for Amazing Spider-man. Smile

That always interested me too. I've seen a similar thing done on a show showing pokemon previews.

This footage isn't new, I've seen the TV series and every scene is straight from it. Maybe the movie will contain some extra footage, but there's nothing new here, it's a bit misleading.

This is a morning TV segment, much like how Good Morning America have little snippets showcasing a good movie, an interesting youtube video, or a recent news for people to catch up in the busy morning. So I assume the people watching are like TV personalities and TV anchor.

I watch it for both too, she's just saying that that's how the anime publicist plan to appeal to the audience, kind of like a game plan.
