I have the first 5 volumes and I didn't like them so I was wondering if anyone else felt the same. I mean it has it's high points like the train casino episode because I love to play cards and that episode was really interesting to me but it was just too slow for me and the fighting was mostly stills which pissed me off because I felt they could've done a much better job on this anime. I havnt seen the ending, but I really don't mind if you tell me the ending. In fact I would appreciate it because I think I'm going to go turn them in, make "backups" first though, so I don't think I'll be picking up volume 6. I picked them up at Suncoast in the USED section so now I see the reason they were there to begin with.

Well on Kaze no Yojimbo I wrote this a little bit ago, and here what I thought let me answer your question about the last volume.

This series is a slow moving one, if you need lots of action to survive a series look else where. If you are into small town mystery/looking at a battle from both side then this might be for you. I rated this show as being "GOOD" just because I felt that the show try to introduce a little too much info too late in the show. But overall I did enjoy myself would not consider this a waste of time.

Anyways since you have come so far with this series I would recommend getting the final volume since it finally reveals some of the answer to which the entire story had been leading up to. So I say find it on ebay and go ahead and finish that series.
Till next time,

I haven't seen it personally but from the trailer it looks alright, I don't mind a slow moving story, and it is based off of Akira Kurosawa's work so that's always a plus. I'll wait for boxset I think though.

I didn't think it was shelf worthy thats it. I thought it was good too but just not what I was looking for you know. I thought Kurosawa's original Seven Samurai was slow and I love that movie. I don't buy stuff off the internet, I was a victim of identity theft before I even got a credit card, so I might just wait until I see it on the Used DVD bin at local stores. I definetly want to watch the ending but I didn't want to spend 30 dollars on a single DVD with all these thinpacks and cheaply priced box sets.
