Okay I just wanna hear people opinions on the 3 opening and 5 ending songs for Bleach. Also if you could also include your thoughts with the opening and ending animations for the songs then please do.

Opening Songs:

Asterisk (Orange Range) 1st opening - I absolutely loved this opening song. It was quite different from what I'm used to hear in most other anime and so this was very enjoyable. The animation for this opening song was very pleasing to watch and doesn't really spoil anything from the series and was a nice way to show the characters in the show.

D-Technolife (UVERworld) 2nd opening - I also love this song though I found it more enjoyable to listen to than Asterisk. The song and opening animation fit in with the story at the moment of the series. Really enjoyable to see the fight between Renjii and Ichigo as well as Ishida versus Ritsuka. Good way to introduce the captains.

Ichirin No Hana (High And Mighty Colour) 3rd opening - So far each opening song has been improving one after the other in my opinion. So far this is now my most favourite opening song at the moment. I'm finding it hard to not listen to it (i'm listening to it right now). Anyways what really keeps me listening to this song is the instrumentals in the background more than the vocals (though they are good too). The opening animation for this song fits the most out of all the opening songs. However the best part of the opening animation in my opinion would have to be when they show Captain Kyouraku and then shift it too Captain Ukitake and also the part where they show the fight between Byakuya and Ichigo. That was really amazing.

Ending Songs:

Life Is Like A Boat (Rei Fu) 1st ending - Out of all the opening and ending songs this is the one I dislike the most. I just didn't like the english in the beginning of the song and I just really didn't like it. The ending animation was ok and it did sorta fit the song but I still don't like the song.

Thank You! (Home Made Kazoku) 2nd ending - This is one of my most favourite ending songs ever but not among the top. I just loved the song the first time I heard it and instantly fell in love with it and I could find myself listening to it on an on. The animation for it was really good and the song fit with what was happening during the series at the time.

HoukiBoshi (Youhna) 3rd ending - This is the best ending song of them all. The vocals and instrumentals are just really well done and are addicting to listen to (at least in my opinion). Not to mention but the ending animation is very unique in that after each episode a new animation is shown of the Gotei 13. I really liked what they did with this song.

Happy People (Skoop On Somebody) 4th ending - This is the funnest song to listen to. I just love listening to this song and seeing the ending animation. Seeing everyone happy and having a good time was just nice way to end an episode. Though that doesn't mean it was appropriate for the episodes that it was shown with. Maybe this could have done better as the first ending song.

Life (Yui) 5th ending - Probably the second best ending next to HoukiBoshi this song also has good vocals and simple yet entertaining lyrics. Also the ending animation for it was really well done. Though I wish it had more of the Gotei 13 involved.

"I'll take swords for 200" - Sean Connery (Saturday Night Live's Celebrity Jeopardy)(actual category was "S" words)

I haven't seen all of the Bleach episodes, but the first op wasn't that good in my opinion. At first I really disliked it, and couldn't bear listening to it, but after a while I good used to it and it's quite good I guess Confused
The First ending theme is My absolute favorite!! It's among the best songs I've ever heard in an anime (I can't believe you dislike it Anime cry ) It's easy to sing along with because of the english, and the singer's voice is nice. Also the lyrics are wonderful!
Because of the fact that the first ed was so great I didn't really listen to the others... I was so angry when they changed the ending!! Anyhow the openings of Bleach have been kind of... a disaster in my opinion, and the ending song's have been a whole lot better! (except for the 2:nd ending song which I didn't like!)

Openings:

Asterisk: Its a great song, probably the best of the openings. I like the beat it has. The animation for this was also good in my opinion, the beginning of it reminds me of the manga volumes.

D technolife: Another good opening song for Bleach, not as good as Asterisk though. If I listen to this one too many times, its easy to get sick of it. The animation for this one was okay, nothing special though.

Ichirin no Hana: This song has a good rock beat and reminds me of my favorite American band (Evanescence). I love the opening animation of this one, especially the part when spoiler[Ichigo's face gradually turns in Hollow Ichigo and the title comes up.]

Endings:

Life is Like a boat: I don't particularly like this song, its better than Happy People though. I do like the animation though, especially seeing the soul threads.

Thank You: A good song with a nice upbeat tempo. The animation for this one fit well too. Each of the characters had a somewhat depressed look on there face and it fit well because this was played at the beginning of the soul society arc.

Houki Boushi: My favorite of the endings. I think Younha has a very nice singing voice and the background music is also very nice. I also loved the changing ending animation this song had, I liked how its showed the members of each of the 13 divisions.

Happy People: I didn't like this song at all, it was the only song I skipped over when watching the episodes. I don't think it fits with whats going on at all, its too happy sounding and seeing them all happy in the animation wasn't right for the episodes it was played after.

Life: A great song. It was sung by Yui, another Japenese singer with a lovely singing voice, she's only 15 too. I just love listening to this song. The animation of the one was only okay though, nothing really special.

If Live is Like a Boat and Happy People had been swiched, the ending would have worked better.

Openings, Love one and 2, the new one, it is alright.

I haven't seen up to the new episodes, only up to ... episode 27, so I don't know much of the new stuff. However, I really do enjoy all the ending themes and opening themes to the anime. Life is Like a Boat happens to be one of my favorite songs.

So far I've liked all the opening songs for Bleach the latest, Ichirin No Hana, being my personal favorite as I'm a metal fan to the core. The endings I'm not really a fan of, though I did like the 3rd one. Happy People doesn't really fit where it is I agree, nobody is a happy person at that point in the series, everything's in chaos.

Not quite true. Zaraki Kenpachi seems to be happy with all the carnage and the oppurtunity to fight strong opponents. He lives for the carnage and for fights.

Smile I suppose that's correct. Poor guy is disturbed but still one of my favorite characters from the show. spoiler[ I wonder if he'll ever find out the name of his Soul Slayer or why (besides the fact he is insane in the membrane) that it's giving him the cold shoulder?]

I'd also like to add that the latest ending is growing on me now, or maybe it's because episode 57 was the last thing I watched before going to work today. It's been stuck in my head.

Asterisk (Orange Range) 1st opening - Loved the song, the animation, the beats, all of it was great. It was the first song I heard from Orange Range, and they're my favorite band right now. I actually like the TV version better because of the subtle differences in the opening beats which all have a better impact than the long version.

D-Technolife (UVERworld) 2nd opening - The animation for this was so-so. It's not special and didn't leave a mark like Asterisk did. It almost seemed to mix rock and techno, it came out nice, but I still like Asterisk better than it.

Ichirin No Hana (High And Mighty Colour) 3rd opening - The animation is good for the most part, I love the opening when we see Ichigo and the way the logo slowly sinks in. The rest of the animation is good too, but it still doesn't top Asterisk. The song itself, took some getting use to. At first I thought it was just one of those rock songs that are nothing but screaming, but after playing it a few times I really started to like it. For me, it's right behind Asterisk out of the three.

Ending Songs:

Life Is Like A Boat (Rei Fu) 1st ending - The animation was...okay, not great, not bad. The song itself, I just didn't like it, the English didn't bother me since Rei Fu has a habbit of using it in her songs...it just wasn't that great of a song.

Thank You! (Home Made Kazoku) 2nd ending - The animation, not so great. It fit the song, but I just didn't feel it all that much. The song, I loved it, the vocals and everything in it were great. It's just a really fun song.

HoukiBoshi (Youhna) 3rd ending - The animation was pretty good, I liked it, could have been better but it was nice. The song...meh, I liked the opening but then it just goes off and becomes another happy pop song.

Happy People (Skoop On Somebody) 4th ending - It really...really didn't match the tone of the show at the time. Who the Hell was really happy? I didn't like it, the song took some time, but it was okay, still the one I like the least.

Life (Yui) 5th ending - I love it, the animation, the song itself, Yui is a great artist. I love her vocals, she has a great voice and it's just really hard to match. It's my favorite of openings.[/quote]

"One of those rock songs that are nothing but screaming?" Man, did you even LISTEN to anything besides the last twenty seconds? The female vocals were totally awesome!
