Is this gag-translated like Funi's dub of the anime?

Given how classy the titles they released mentioned in the article sound, I see no reason why it would be

Uh, shouldn't the pricing be the other wary around?

Looks like their release of Shinchan is three books in one. Pretty good deal, but I'll wait 'til they get to volume 12.

Well probably for the same reason the anime was, jokes won't make sense to us. If we will get the jokes, then I'm cool with it being as it should be, if it won't make sense, then I want them to gag it again.

Official English manga versions tend to mirror and be like the heavily edited dub only shows.

And unless they hire the same writers as the dub, there's no way the manga writers would be able to keep straight all those changes anyways. It's not just a few changes here and there but all over the place. It'd be an exercise in futility.

Well, it looks like they confirmed they'll be recycling the CMX translations. Those were pretty bland, but if you missed the manga the first time around, then it's still a good deal. Just make sure they put in the effort to release volume 10 unedited, as that one missed a panel in the CMX edition.

Still, nothing like my ComicsOne editions and what they did in the earlier volumes.
