Yep, two stellar shoujo titles. Regarding the Mayu Shinjo manga, definitely one of her better ones. Maybe they'll even license Ao Haru Ride also by the creator of Strobe Edgeconsidering its already been licensed by Tokyopop in Germany. Its definitely raking in the money in Japan
I'm very happy with this news.
Now if only these titles would get an anime.....
heh. who am I kidding? good shoujo never gets animated.

I'm very happy for Strobe Edge.
With Ao Haru Ride currently being published, I'm really digging Sakisaka Io's stuff.
She's easily becoming one of my most recent favorite shoujo manga-ka.

How about some good shounen now, Viz? Magico, Silver Spoon, Sket Dance? Please? I need something now that Bakuman is over

Personally i'm hoping VIZ will pick up the Tekman manga if the stream for the anime does well enough.

I'm not huge on shojo (ok, I am, I meant modern shojo), but Strobe Edge looks pretty good. The other one, I'd need to rent that from the library first.

Excited for Strobe Edge! Now if VIZ could license other shoujo series like Kirarin Revolution, HiyoKoi, Boku wa Ookami, Hime-Chan no Ribbon, ChibiDebi, Gakkou no Ojikan, and Kare Made Love KM, that would be great! Seeing as Bakuman just ended, I also wish they'd get more shounen series too such as Sket Dance, ST&RS, Beelzebub, Nagasarete Airantou, Magico, etc.

I keep hoping Viz will pick up 7 Seeds. But since that's not going to happen, I'm happy with Strobe Edge.

You took the words right outta my mouth, comrade. I fell in love with Ao Haru Ride and so I'll definitely be checking out Strobe Edge. Hope the former gets a stateside release too (whoever publishes it can just siphon money straight from my paycheck)!
