So I take it I won't be buying this one from Bandai (the U.S. branch) this time (?). I'll be curious if this volume will be available from a company like TRSI or if I'll have to import it from Japan directly.

I still say the japanese are jerks for forceing their price point on us. over 50 bucks for just a DVD total jerks for not understanding our market and yes im talking to the exexcutives at bandai japan. So what if their price point works in japan we are not all collectors that have deep pockets a 40-60 minute ova is not worth 50+dollars here in the US. I say this as a gundam fan who is not rich.
30 -40 dollars(USD) would be resonable.

I was kind of wondering if we were going to have to import it directly from Japan as well. I really hope they keep releaseing it the way they have in the past. It would definitely save a lot on shipping.

I feel bad for the ones that bought the domestic discs. BV just does what they want it seems.

Like Furuya and Ikeda, he still sounds the same and i see no reason not to have him back for the role. I think having him back for the role would also mean his return for the upcoming Origin anime.

Hopefully this instalment will be like the great third episode instead of the painful fourth episode. But I get the feeling that this once good series is coming off the wheels very fast. The fact that there's even a black unicorn in the first place is facepalm-inducing, because it craps all over what we the audience have been told thus far about the nature of the key (to Laplace's Box).

Glad to see that I'm not the only who noticed Kai Shiden. I was actually wondering if he'd show up in this series.

I still can't understand why they keep deciding to stay with the 1990's art style. Are the same people continuously producing these?

They use character designs close to Yas' illustrations for the books.

I hope they keep Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's designs for any future UC material. It's pretty much part of UC Gundam as much Yoshiyuki Tomino is for me.

Because it appeals to the UC fanboys who are actually going to buy the discs.
I will say the character designs look pretty nice, obviously a lot of effort was undertaken to get the shading and expressions right. Ah, the luxuries of OVA productions.

I can see where the shading detail is good, but it still looks to me like I'm watching a 1990's cartoon. Guess Natassia sells.
