No, but the Soyuz might be, if the money was right. |

Yea for only 20 million more we can make a red space blanket to cover the Soyuz more like 40 mil. or they could go with gold that would grab every ones attention.

I wonder what kind of strange looks he'll get when he asks his fellow astronauts/cosmonauts to address him as "the red comet".

As if bumbling about the space station in a mask won't get enough strange looks? |

One has to watch out he doesn't take the controls of the ISS, lest he pilot it into the atmosphere and drop it on Sydney.

Right, we need to make sure he doesn't think of naming the ISS "Side 1." |

I've barely watched the show, and I wouldn't think so.
Just because the dude has a mask and speak eloquently doesn't mean he's Darth Vader. |

You'd be right. One (Darth Vader) was an ambitious young man driven by selfish and somewhat paranoid desire to become a being of evil, tainted by the "Dark Side" of a powerful psychic energy and willfully executing the machinations of an oppressive Empire until being struck down by his own son. The other (Char Aznable) was the son of a beloved politician and theorist who exacted revenge on his father's betrayers by becoming their friend and then stabbing them in the back at the opportune time. He would then seek to see his father's will carried out, ultimately resorting to radical, terroristic means of doing so. |

I wonder what Hooper X would have to say about Char "Aryan Nation" Aznable being compared to the blackest brother in science fiction. I think Vader was a better character before they explained his origin, whereas Char's origin makes him all the more interesting. After all, unlike the mystical Jedi or the Sith, people like Char could exist in real-life power games. They probably wouldn't be as good-looking. Maybe John F. Kennedy Jr.'s pilot practice was merely training to eventually become the Massachusetts Red Comet, but tragedy struck. |

Sorry for the stupid nitpick, but it's "spacefaring," not "farring."

I agree with everyone that said something along the lines of "this is so apropriate" and "i couldn't stop laughing".
Char Aznable in space... I would love to read about a "colony" drop in the newspapers |

he should pay off the other crew members to cosplay and memorize lines of Char's crew, then they will re-enact a momorable scene from Gundam.
He should also cosplay as Master Asia |
