i sure am and i'd be happy even if i wasn't a fan since its a Josei show, so few Josei mangas ever get adapted its always nice to hear about a new one now we just need a very kind group to pick up the manga...... |

I remain cautious on this one since I tend to much prefer the original meaning and stories behind the manyoushuu poetry. The problem I could see is that everything turns into some great love story, but that is mostly not the case with those poems. Many speak of sad, unrequited, or lost love. I would rather not see some sugar-coated wish-fufillment, which the "very liberal" seems to hint at.

Yay! I'm looking forward to this series!
I hope they talk about (or perhaps show) the historical meaning behind each poem! |

I don't see how you could write anything but a very loose interpretation, given that these are just poems -- there is no real story to be told.
As a previous commenter said, I'm interested in this show to see more Josei. I am a big fan of Chihayafuru, but I don't think this will satisfy my craving for Chihayafuru Season 2. |

The art and the music in the video are excellent. Lets compare it to what will actually done in the anime.
