They have always said that they would release a patch for free if they reached their goal. Id assume that would still be the case.

It was already fanpatched days within KM releasing, so no big deal for me. Cool to have a hard copy version though.

Good to hear. I don't follow news from them all that closely, so I wasn't sure what they were gonna do. That's especially good since I never could get the voice patch that was floating around online to work. Now to play the waiting game and get the patch before I play the game itself.

well now this nice.. i have seen some of those ova's and they are a trip so just shut up and take my money already. One a side note it's nice to see Koihime Musō legally coming out with the voices. I bought the game myself but I am not afraid to say I used a voice path. It wasn't the same with a high end eroge with out any of the voices.

Maybe you'll be 18 by the time it's released.  The game probably won't be released until sometime next year anyway.
Good job MG, actually picking up a game I'm interested in playing. I watched the anime years ago, and it was pretty interesting.

Well this is a big first for MangaGamer, they've always seemed pretty persistent on not touching the 男の娘 (boys in skirts) genre, and has been the main reason I've given them the cold shoulder even though I've had some interest in their type of products. The more hardcore erogame fans must have been more outspoken about it than I thought.

you will actually be surprised by the female fans that like that sort of thing. I actually like it myself but to each his/her own hell this is actually good news for once. I still have hope that clannad or kannon will come over some day..

I'll be buying both upon release, plus a hardcopy of KM for the collection (and more support for MG). Hope OtoBoku's anime helps in getting it to sell

If you're in the US there's actually no law stopping you (just like there's no way to legally enforce any rating a publisher uses). You can get a friend to buy Otoboku for you with his credit card.
