http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000354/

Look at the thirteenth item on his list. Someone over at Rotten Tomatoes spotted this. Odd, huh? I wonder if that is true...anyone know?

Interesting, some others from the main Naruto listing:

Steven Jay Blum .... Kakashi (voice: English version)
Johnny Yong Bosch .... Naruto (voice: English version)
Mark Hildreth .... Sauke (voice: English version)
Steve Kramer .... Hokage (voice: English version)
Rachael Lillis .... Sakura (voice: English version)
Colleen O'Shaughnessey .... Ino, Konohamaru (voice: English version)
Stephanie Sheh .... Hinata (voice: English version)
Eric Stuart .... Gara (voice: English version)

That list looks rather inaccurate and is mostly a list made by fans that got out on the internet and was believed to be an actual cast list.

For starters, it has been said that Naruto's VA for the US version is a newcomer, and Johnny Yong Bosch is far from that. Plus, I believe Sasuke's actual VA, at least according to ANN, is Yuri Lowenthal, not Mark Hildreth, and as far as that Matt Damon thing, there's no way that Viz would want to pay the amount he'd probably want to do a series that is that long

Anyway, the point is, that list is old and inaccurate, if you wanna know who's in the Naruto dub so badly, it premieres in just a little over two weeks so just wait until then and watch it on Cartoon Network

For the record, that cast listing is about 75% BS. It's been circulating for months, and has been long since debunked.

WTF? That's a mix of actors from LA, Vancouver and New York. Obviously this is fake. The only correct roles are Steve Blum and Steve Kramer (Johnny's may be right, though). Also, why hasn't Eric Stuart been fired from dubbing yet? Laughing

It's total nonsense as there has yet to be an official announcment of the voice actors in Naruto, except for Steve Blum and maybe a few others. That being said, I'd really like to know where they got the info that Matt Damon was going to have a role. Odds are it was just a rumor and someone decided to submit it to IMDB.

Yeah, heh, that's what I was gonna say. The Team America Matt Damon is the first thing I thought about when I saw this thread.

While older reports said that Naruto's voice was that of an unknown, Viz reported at Comic-Con that Wendee Lee was doing Naruto's voice. Then again, Viz said that Naruto would be TV-PG, while Toonami said it would be TV-Y7FV. With all this conflicting information, I honestly have no idea what's up with Naruto. September 10th can't come soon enough.

In the latest commercial Naruto's voice can actually be heard, and though it sounds kinda high it's DEFINITELY NOT Wendee Lee. It sounds more like Raimundo of Xiaolin Showdown (who is VA'd by Tom Kenny), but I doubt it's him.

Dude, you can't really from that commercial. All he said was "What's that?" really quick.

For those who missed it, CN aired a commercial last night promoting new shows and new episodes coming this fall. Toonami clips included IGPX, Bobobo-bo-Bobo and Naruto (with 1 second of dub audio). It should be on www.toonamiarsenal.com at some point.

To IMDb as a whole that's probably not true. To obscure TV shows from other countries that's most likely the case.

I do remember that before Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater came out Britney Spears was credited as playing "The Constipator".

I guess it's best not to trust it untill the Movie/TV show/Video Game has actually come out.
