Got Ghost Trick for Xmas, finally got to start playing it! And frankly, I'm having trouble putting my DS down.
It's weird, for some reason, I though it was a different genre then Phoenix Wright (same creators), but no, it's totally still a VN. To which I say "Dammit, if I'd know that last January when the game came out, I would've gotten it a year ago!" So yeah, everyone with a DS that liked either Phoenix Wright or 999 needs to jump on this right now! It's got all the witty dialogue and humor of Phoenix Wright, the only thing I'm missing are the ridiculously translated pun names. |

Well it's from Major and it's Goro throwing his signature pitch, gyroball. This is from the 5th season, I think he was battling with Itao, shattering a few bats. It's just looks awesome when he throws his gyroball, coupled with the sound of a cannon firing, and how it rotates air around it.

As it is the New Year (in New Zealand), it's time for me to change my Avatar. After honouring the pre-eminent RahXephon, I thought I'd turn my attention to the godly-awesome Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It began airing last (Northern) winter, and for the next three months - specifically, up to April 22nd, the date that the last two episodes were aired - I will be using this Avatar of Mami. Why Mami? Because she's my favourite girl out of the lot. And no, I don't like her because she's a huge Internet meme. I like Mami because she was truly amazing in and of herself. Fights with Gun Kata using flintlock rifles? Beautiful, kind and intelligent? Excellent mentor to the newbies? Altruistic and a hero of justice? A big apartment and a bigger rack? I don't think Mami has a single flaw. And no, I'm not going to crack a joke about how she struggles to get ahead, so you're out of luck. Edit: man, it does feel weird changing your Avatar after a long time. I can't easily scan a page for my posts anymore. And my old RahXephon Avatar was really eye-catching, with the orange and black. Which is understandable, since it was from the eye-catch. This PMMM one . . . not so much. I still love it though. Just because it isn't distinctive doesn't mean it ain't a great picture of a great girl. |

Agreed Mami was also my favorite character. She was a great mother-like character that had her own style. Not to mention her theme song was good. I was so sad after the end of episode 3. I was like "seriously?" Mami was my previous avatar. My current avatar is Ame Ochibana. She is a great character, I just loved her in the 2 OVA episodes of Denpa teki na Kanojo. |

I changed to chibi-Jubei from Hyakko Ryoran Samurai Girls because 1: I made this a long time ago and never used it, 2: I recently started rewatching this show, and 3: it's just too cute

Whenever I change my Avatar it takes me a couple of weeks to get used to the new one. This time 'round I actually thought that a Moderator had removed one of my posts because I scanned the page and did not recognise it. Luckily I managed to 'find' it before I wrote an angry PM, hah hah. |
