I was wondering if there's been any new news on this show and had a few questions. Has it been made yet or released in Japan? Any ideas what it will be about? I thought 2040 pretty much wrapped most everything up. Any thoughts on the matter or anyone else looking forward to it as I am?

I'm pretty sure that this one will stay in pre-production hell. There hasn't been any official news on it in almost three years.

^Well, they've announced they've claimed the rights but the show hasn't been created yet so they don't own jack yet, and probabally wouldn't be able to tell me much. I supose it may be worth a try though.

I emailed them (ADV) earlier today actually since I just showed the whole BGC 2040 series to a friend yesterday. I do hope for a sequel simply to find out what happened, everyone was scattered at the end and because the plot and chemistry between characters was great in the first one. |

yea please try to keep this post up to date .. cause i am watching BGCT 2040 right now and think its a great show .. cant wait till i finish it .. but i heard about the 2041 comeing and looked at hte encyclopedia and from nothing ..
so i hope they still plan on coming out with another .. well off to try to finish watching 2040 .. on ep 18 ... god i hope she gets out of the building in time ... |

Ok finished watching it today .. and wow its great ..
i really hope they come out with 2041 .. be nice to see if everyone gets back together and what happens with the romance still in the air ... so here is hopeing .. if anyone has info please post it .. thanks guys |

In the meantime, let's all go watch the original Bubblegum Crisis with its Kenichi Sonoda character designs and laugh at how vastly inferior 2040 is.
