I was just wondering what you think your country's number one anime was so I could add it to my collection. I live in the U.S. so I guess it would have to be Yugioh because a lot of people watch it. (I don't) I think I'm wrong though.

is pokemon still big in the US? is dbz? i never saw yu gi oh but these shows were once big in the US werent they? did you notice kids are the ones who mainly watch these. if it was up to meid say berserk because just about every anime fan has seen it and only a few people dislike it. i know in mexico Ranma 1/2, Dr Slump, and Saint Seiya were huge once but now i dunno. maybe some soccer anime weve never heard of is number one in mexico and south america.

I think YGO is definitely the most popular anime here. Probably not among anime fans, but there's a couple million kids running around nicking each other cards.
EDIT: hold on, I forgot to read the title of this thread.  The best selling anime in the U.S. is most likely Pokemon, although the fad has been passed onto YGO.

I am certain that Inuyasha is the most popular anime in Canada. If you look on the Google Zeitgeist for Canada, you'll be hard-pressed to find a month where it wasn't the number one search, or at least in the top three.

As for Poland, I would say GTO is most famous now. Of course, a high percentage of people still vividly remember Dragon Ball the most famous anime evah...
