was on TV on the UK and if so, when ?

Well, I know that Mazinger-Z aired in the US as "Tranzor-Z" during the 1980s, but I can't say much for the UK. As you must know, infromation on Super Robot anime is extremely sparse, they really are the dinosaurs of the anime world.

Try looking for Tranzor Z having been on TV...
It's possible.
Mazinkaiser is currently available on DVD, though.

thanks for the replays
Tranzor Z was the name given to the serie
or at was left affter the adaptation they do in the USA
it was aired there 84 or 85 i need to confirm which year
and also the day and the mouth...
they make 65 epsisodes from the 92 of the original
changed the plot and the names of everybody
and cut a lot of scenes.......
any way my question go to the serie on the UK
I have some info that was aired there on 1983
but I have not look finding any web or info about it
so may be they just buy the serie but never aired it???

they are kind of retro yes but still Alive
and many of what is around nowdays, get somehow
inspirated by them.......
well have you happen to see Mazinkaiser ?
I think they get some DVD recentlily on the UK
that is no so dinosaurius era
