i'm really glad Egoist are doing the OP this time, i have to say out of the two singers i much prefered Chelly over Koeda, the first episodes opening song and the ED where 2 of my fav pieces this season, and i didn't really like the OP at all tbh

i'm also interested to see how these songs chart this time around, given that Departures actually did better than My Dearest last time, its just a shame we'll have to wait till March to hear the full songs Crying or Very sad

Actually, funnily enough, even though Departures charted at 8 and My Dearest was at 10, Departures sold less copies:

My Dearest: 28,000
Departures: 22,000

I noticed this when I was checking the rankings and was kind of shocked. I also like Chelly's voice more than Koeda's overall, though I'm a sucker for the composition of My Dearest.

must have been a tough week when My Dearest charted then

i have to say though i was suprised when i first saw that Departures charted higher, i started checking it's ranking because such a chilled out song charting better than than My Dearest didn't quite seem right, at least now i know that my suspicions were correct in some way

I don't like the first opening. It's like Japanese Shakira. Laughing

Needless to say, I dislike Sha-sha-sha-shazamm Laughing Shakira too.

I'm suprised that Departures didn't out sell Dearest, I mean seriously, it has Euretrpe as it's b side and no matter who you're talking to that is the best song.
Also the new ed will probably be the power-up theme if you think about it, doesn't sound much like Egoists songs so far and still hasn't had a single. Makes sense in my mind at least
