I've just finally decided to finish Sailor Moon series entirely but now I have no idea what Anime to try next. Would anyone be kind enough to suggest some? I really like Sailor Moon, Witch Hunter Robin, .hack//SIGN, Inuyasha, and Cowboy Bebop. I like comedy but then I also love dark mysterious shows as well. Any suggestions?

If you liked Sailor Moon, you may want to try Cardcaptor Sakura. They aren't exactly similar, but they are both mahou shoujo. I'm a big fan of both series (CCS is one of my favorite anime).

Two animes I would highly recommend to anyone are Gungrave and Irresponsible Captain Tylor. (Probably my two favorite)
Here are some other great ones...
Saiyuki (Great great great!)
Full Metal Panic! (I love this anime)
Gad Guard (One of my favorites)
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (Very funny)

You said you like dark and mysterious. Why don;t you try Fantastic Children, if you can get throught the first half you will fall in love with it.

Dark and Mysterious: Try Texhnolyze, Serial Experiments Lain, Key the Metal Idol, and Paranoia Agent. They may warp your brain. And, of course, you can't beat the apocalyptic angst of Evangelion, X, and Ayashi no Ceres.
Comedy: If you like the really zany/outrageous stuff, as opposed to "zomg lol he fell on a nekkid girl n da abthrm again!!!!!1", try Azumanga Daioh, Excel Saga, and Chromartie High.

Oh yeah, definitely Evangelion. I've only seen a few episodes of it, but if a scene's mood is portrayed well. I also recommend Paranoia Agent. For now, it makes no sense at all, but a very good show anyway. It's a lot different from many of the other anime I've watched, so that might be why I like it so much. Have you seen Fullmetal Alchemist? It's a great comedy, plus a deep and dark story line. If you haven't...get outta here.

How about Revoluntionary Girl Utena? It's directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara who directed Sailor Moon.
