You should see trust and betreyal first(look at it in ANN) The story follows young Kenshin. Reflection follows the characters from rurouni kenshin, but at the end... I shall not say.
Edit: Heres Trust and Betrayal anime#210 Edit 2: Heres Reflection anime#310 Edit 3: See Rurouni Kenshin before Reflection. |

While watching them in that order would work I would suggest watching the series then Trust and Betrayel and then Reflections.

I will second the watching of the Tsuioku-hen OAV ("Trust & Betrayal") after the TV series.
The OAV goes the same order as the manga, serving as a flashback after the events of Kyoto and having the continuity make much more sense. I saw Tsuioku-hen before the series, but thankfully, I forgot about the OAV by the time I finished the end of Kyoto (episode 62). When you watch Tsuioku-hen, please do not watch the TV series in its entirety past episode 62. The third season is all filler, very badly written, and a waste of time and money that in fact, led to the low ratings that got the TV series cancelled. Anyway, just trust me, the OAV will make so much more sense if you watch it after the end of the Kyoto arc. |

I agree, watch the TV series first (at least up to Ep 62). Then watch Trust & Betrayal, followed by Reflections; and somewhere in between check out the theatrical movie, called Ishin Shishi No Requiem.

The movie is pretty much a filler episode and thus has little relevance to the main plot. It does feature some characters that don't appear until the second season, so you probably want to watch it after the TV series. Also, as others have pointed out - do yourself a favor and skip the third season of the TV series.

The third season was created to keep the TV series going while mangaka wrote more material. Unfortunately the filler was so bad that the ratings tanked and the series got cancelled. Yes, it's that bad. The first season has some filler material (some episdeos on discs 4 and 5 believe). Depending on your reaction to those episodes you can make up your mind on the third season. My recommendation - skip it and go for the manga instead.

Rurouni Kenshin is a funny series (Yahiko being all pathetic) with alot of action. Actually, it's all action and the only funny parts are Yahiko trying to do whatever it is and the bloopers in the disk set. The disk set lets you look at the lighter side of voice acting and gives you a better idea of the person with the voice.
