I don't know if this was previously announced, but after reading the Answerman column, I figured I'd put out the notice.
I don't know about Sailor Moon S, but the first season of Sailor Moon was featured in my distributors pre-order magazine. This is a completely unedited version.
I don't have the magazine in front of me but I remember that this one is going to cost you. It's somewhere between $150 and $200.
It's being marketed as the unedited version. There is no mistaking this one for the kids one. It was scheduled for July release.

I would imagine that if season 1 does well then the other would follow, including, eventually, Sailor Moon S. It won't be anytime soon, though.

ADV has the rights to Sailor Moon And Sailor Moon R
Pioneer has the rights to S and Super S

NO ONE has the rights to StarS

S(all out) and Super S(still being rereased as far as i know) have been
released uncut on DVD.

I was a little peeved that this was going to be available only as a box set, being an anime fan that generally prefers getting series in small nibbles rather than as one big chunk (since this set will inevitably be priced at $250-300 Canadian in Montreal stores and I just don't like spending that kind of money all at once on anime), but, since I found it for just $90 U.S. at Deep Discount DVD, I'll probably bite the bullet and buy it, though only the first season.

I simply wanted to stress that, eventually, it is likely that it would be released if the unedited sets do well.

As for ordering them early, I probably got that list late as I got it with my last order, so I'll probably always be a week or two behind. If I see something of interest I'll post it, though.
I could also post about non-video games but this isn't the right forum for that.

Unless you've got your series titles mixed up... "it" meaning Sailor Moon S, with Sailor Neptune and Uranus and Saturn and the Messiah and the Silence and so forth... then, "it" has been available in uncut format for a year.

Sailorstars (NOT "StarS", that's just Tokyopop's name for the corresponding manga) is currently in limbo due to licensing conflicts.

Same price at fye.com as well. And free shipping if you order over a certain amount.

If you can get it for $90, do it. My distributor has it at $150.

The description reads:

Presenting the first season of the international hit anime series Sailor Moon in it's original, uncut, and totally uncensored Japanese form. Contails all 46 original episodes. This set contains material that may not be suitable for younger audiences, including nudity and sexual content. Scheduled to ship in July.

It has a rating of 15+.

And yes, you read it correctly, it's being offered in Japanese with subs. It comes on 8 DVDs and also has a special episode guide for season 1.

ok well here is some info i have about sailor moon.

this is an article in a magazine i read about sailor stars
"Sailors Away! Many shows have found their controvercial sexual situations removed.Scenes from sailor moon s and sailor moon stars featured sexual themes that couldnt cross the american border, such as the male starlights' ability to turn into wemen(1) and the lesbian romance between sailor uranus and sailor neptune, not to mention how the final episodes of sailor moon featured our heroine baring more skin than found on a playboy playmate." thats what an article said about sailor moon, just thought i would share it with you fellow sailor moon fans.

Sailor moon super s: the pegasus collection vol.7
may 13th on dvd $29.98
pioneer animation
"How could we not commemorate the end of a sailor-suited era? sailor moon super s: the pegasus collection volume 7marks the end of sailor moon super s season, and since the final season, saillr moon stars, hasn't been licensed in america yet, this could be the final sailor moon release in the united states. so sailor moon fans, relish this release; it's presumably the new product you'll be getting for a long, long time. with that in mind, you'll finally find out how the scouts crush the crackling Queen Neherenia(say that 3 times fast.). rini, aka chibi-usa, who has a whole subscriptions worth of issues to work out, pegasus him self makes a major sacrifice, and sailor moon finds out that just useing whatever glowing, music playing magic bauble thats bestowed upon her isnt always the best way to take out a super villan. could this be the end of one of the american televison ethics prevent millions of rabid, foaming sailor moon fans from getting their fix? only tim ewill tell" article on the last release

Hmm... why did ADV give "C'est faux" as the answer when asked if the set would only be a limited release? Are they just being cute? Did one of the Montreal people here ask them and they decide they only communicate with people in Montreal in French, even if the Montrealer to whom they're speaking is an Anglophone? (Probably not the latter, but some large corporations here in Canada insist on sending their advertising mail (the kind that's sent through Canada Post and addressed to us, not unsolicited junk mail) to us in French, even when we ask otherwise...)
