does the anime go on after eps 25 or does the manga still go on.

The anime was made when the manga was still in progress, which is why it doesn't really end. Thankfully, Tokyopop has the manga licensed and according to animeondvd it will be released in October.

I doubt it. Usually, when an anime is officially ended, even if the manga storyline continued, the anime isn't continued except in a few rare cases that I can't remember. If animes did continue once there was more manga, we definately would have had the Revenge arc of Kenshin and an actual end for GetBackers.
