Good call. That type of remark is really unprofessional and rude.

I've wonder what the guy talking about with the whole idol and Disney vs Universal Studios look.. didn't know there's a particular look or style seiyuus must have, lol. Nonetheless, Yui still looks great.

I can imagine the scrambling they're going through in finding a replacement (and then reediting or redoing the ED)

Call me American and uncultured, but I don't understand why the song had to be pulled. Sure, his comments weren't pleasant or necessary, but he is entitled to his own opinion, isn't he? Normally, songs are pulled for more serious things, like drug charges (remembering L'arc-en-Ciel).

Maybe I'm not reading it right, but it seems oddly severe just for a guy who shot off his mouth about something (that I think is) trivial.

Interesting that Hocchan was on a magazine cover. The only big role that I'm aware that she has currently is Chie in Persona 4. I'm not watching the anime nor am I familiar with the games, but is that role a really big one or something?

Not surprised to see a visual kei band getting in a bit of trouble for making superficial comments. The concept of skill/performance over look/style is alien to at least a few of them I imagine.

I agree that the comment itself is pretty trivial, well superficially really.. but in this context, when you're supposed to be promoting each other, I can see how it can create some tension, probably more for the fans.

So while they are entitled to say what they want, the producers of the show aren't required to keep them onboard.

Also I am more sympathetic in the case you mentioned since drugs or other external activity aren't related to the show, unlike here where he's in direct conflict

In Japan, it seems professionals are actually held accountable for their actions and show self restraint and action when they were in the wrong. Wink

Did you intend to throw in the word "scambling" as a pun for the School Rumble theme song "Scramble" that Yui Horie sang?

Agreed. Wish more professionals in North America would do the same.

But! But! Isn't the ED theme part of "creator's intent"?! Laughing

(Goes to show that ED theme songs aren't really that important to the creator's vision of the show....... so next time a dub replaces a song..........)

Besides, he's only talking about the mag cover photo, not what the girl actually looks like.
