Finally ending it, eh, Obata?
Great manga that is actually very realistic. Viz needs to hurry up and get the volumes out faster.

Well now that it has an ending in Japan, it makes me more willing to look into getting it. Is it worth my money? I've only recently went "oh yeah, Viz publishes stuff under the Shojo Beat line, don't they?" because I hate how the spines looked at kinda ignored it as a result for ages. Playing catch up!

This. Now that it's nearly ended, 6 months between volumes is not cool.
classicalzawa - It's definitely worth your time. It's light years ahead of most high school romances.

At this point, I'm happy they're still releasing it at all. I don't think it sells, so spacing the releases out means their losses are also spaced out.

I hope Obata-sensei doesn't end it the typical shoujo way by making it a happy ending. Since it is a slice of life and kinda realistic, I think it is better to end in a realistic way as well. I may be biased here as I hate the main couple but let's hope for a worthwhile ending.

Not to mention it's been taking 10 months between release for volumes in Japan lately and we're only 2 volumes behind right now. I'd say Viz is doing pretty well in keeping up.
Now if Kimi ni Todoke can also go ahead and end before it hits volume twenty, I'll be happy. Hate it when series go on too long when they don't need to.

For the longest time I was convinced this was an older manga series that had been completed in Japan for ages, and Viz was only now releasing it stateside, so when I found out it was actually an ongoing series I was very surprised.
This is one of the most memorable, and realistic shoujo manga I've ever had the pleasure of reading. I'm up to vol. 12 or 13 now and I'm positively on the edge of my seat waiting to pre-order the rest of it.
Thank you, Obata-sensei, for your amazing work. And thank you, Viz, for continuing to release this little gem. Can't wait to own all of it. Even if it doesn't sell well, I can guarantee one fan who'll support it to the very end.

I am still so pissed off that Viz stopped releasing B.O.D.Y. They only had four more volumes goddammit.
I'm thankful they're still doing BokuGa, yeah. You're right.
