seriously, this is bugging me, a friend posted it as for an anime guessing game, and everyone gave up and he posted another instead of this. He won't tell me what it is saying "looks like you'll have to figure it out on your own." I have since given up trying to do that myself, so I ask you all...
do you know what series (more than likely an Import from Japan) this hails from? |

On a side note, I'd say your friend was trying to trick you. I don't think that's from an anime; it doesn't look familiar at all. If I were you, I'd try asking about it on 4chan.com The place if full of mostly idiots (that’s only my personal opinion, of course  ), but it's a good place to find the source of images like that.

thanks for the reply, I'll try there, but knowing this guy, it's from an anime, He doesn't really fool around like that, for the 5 years I've known him. If anyone else would like to tell me, please do, I'd rather not post again on the same subject in another thread, it would sound like I was trying to spam or something. ^^;;;

Oh, and I forgot, they also do the occasional Torrent of copyrighted material. So yeah, it might have to be blacklisted and such......

Well, I figured it would be ok to link to 4chan, because even ANN has had two articles about it, links included.
Also, there is hentai and such there, but it’s in a completely separate area from the "regular" images, so it’s very easy to avoid if you’re like me and don’t want to have to claw your eyes out because you saw some…disturbing things.  Most of the boards are completely clean.

Spoilered for censorship reasons. Don't highlight if you get easily offfended. spoiler[Not all the boards are "completely clean." I can't count the number of times a post on "What Gun should I buy?" in Weapons becomes a pissing match over caliber.] Name calling, insults, stupid image macros..... 
spoiler[Oh, and Hentai/Alternative is the most screwed up board. I think the current beef is whether or not Fat Girl Sex should be posted in Hentai/Alternative. They also fight over Dickgirls and Tenticle Rape constantly (i.e. "What's appropiate to post".). But Bondage/S&M always seems to go past without incident.....] But on the lighter side, 4chan was mentioned in the last issue of Animerica. In the YOTSUBA&! Manga review. |

4chan isn't actually that bad. I've known far worse. One of which would have been Gaia Online if not for their strict PG-13 subject matter rule, which suprisingly browning points for users to enforce. At least at 4chan some of the users are honest, if not brutally honest about themselves, but by far it isn't a library or even a work friendly place.

I mostly stick to /a/, and I occasionally check out /c/ and /cm/, and those three are usually pretty safe. NEVER /b/ or /d/! THE HORROR!
I went to /b/ once thinking, “I wonder why everyone hates /b/ so much?” My next thoughts were, “Hmm, this place doesn’t seem so ba- AAH!!! My eyes! My innocent eyes! I’m scarred for life!” So yeah...never again. BUT, like I said, /a/, /c/, and /cm/ are usually safe and pleasant. Usually. |
