What with the large cardboard standups in theaters, and commercials on TV, I might start to believe that Disney is actually doing a good job of marketing Miyazaki in the US. Surprised

If you live in the San Francisco Bay area you might want to check this out.http://www.bampfa.berkeley.edu/pfa_programs/ghibli/index.html
They're showing a bunch of Studio Ghibli movies all this month including Howl's Moving Castle.

I still have grumpy memories of a couple years ago when my local movie theater had cardboard cutouts for spirited away, AND IT NEVER CAME TO THAT THEATER.

Still, perhaps Disney will have this one at more theaters than spirited away.

Er...I'm still unfamiliar with the way anime theatrical releases in the U.S. go. I believe Howl will be in theaters on June 10th, but is it only on that day?

It will have more theaters, 700-800, the highest for a theatrical released anime! (HAPPY DAY!)

Finally saw a commercial for it the other night on Adult Swim. I can't wait to see this movie again. Howl is by far the most yummy male character Ghilbi has ever animated. Cool
