Koutaro Nishiyama to Release 3rd Mini-Album my bag on March 14, 2025

Koutaro Nishiyama, who made his artist debut under the Lantis record label in October 2020, will release his 3rd mini-album, my bag, on March 14, 2025, marking his first release in approximately three and a half years. This mini-album is based on the concept of “favorites,” reflecting Nishiyama's everyday joys, such as favorite items, moments, and spaces.

The lead track, titled “Koukishin BOY” (Curiosity Boy), was written and composed by singer-songwriter Kohei Dojima, with arrangements by Dojima and Shinya Saitō (ONIGAWARA). “Koukishin BOY” features uplifting lyrics that encourage listeners to pursue what they love in everyday life and to take on new challenges without hesitation. The song is further enhanced by its catchy, yet slightly nostalgic melody.

In the new visual, Nishiyama is surrounded by a variety of colorful bags, symbolizing the idea of filling each one—regardless of size—with his favorite things. The overall look is both pop-inspired and sophisticated.

My bag will be available in two formats: a Limited First Edition and a Regular Edition. It will include six tracks, with “Koukishin BOY” as the lead song. The Limited First Edition comes with a Blu-ray featuring the “Koukishin BOY” music video and behind-the-scenes footage. This edition also includes a sacoche bag designed to hold the EP-sized CD, perfect for carrying the album on the go. Additionally, an A-on STORE Exclusive Edition, featuring an approximately 1/10 scale acrylic stand of Koutaro Nishiyama, will be available for purchase on the same day.

“Koukishin BOY” is currently available for pre-release streaming on various music platforms, so listeners can enjoy the full version of the song ahead of the CD release.
