I know this sounds stupid but, do you think my new picture can induce seizures? I really don’t want to give some one who has epilepsy a seizure, I would feel just awful.

It's annoying, that's for sure. At least you have an avatar, I still haven't gotten around to making a new one since I deleted the old picture.

At first, I actually thought it was my computer and the page didn't load properly. Now I know otherwise.

Seizures? I dunno... but it does give me a headache, and that's plenty reason enough for me to suggest that you change it back.

Personally when I stare at it, I zone out... I can't think a rational thought while staring at the mess of colors. It's kinda creepy

Yeah, I'd suggest changing your avatar or at least using different colors for the lines. The human eye is especially sensitive to that yellow, and while it definitely won't give anyone seizures, it might impair their vision if they're foolhearted enough to stare at it long enough .
EDIT: Just realized I mispelled "seziure." I blame that avatar!

*Starts to foams at the mouth, twichs, and pass out.* Oh, I'm sorry, Johnny Depp in Kingdom Hearts 2 almost gave me a heart attack.
The avatar is tippy dude.

I believe the key to producing seizures has to do with frequency + colors. If you can get your avatar to beat rythmically between two garish colors, say about 10 Hz, that should do the trick.

Yes, I think that's about right. I seem to recall that the seizure effect is caused by very strong signals from the optic nerve interfering with the brain's Alpha rhythm, or something like that. Maybe azzmoneky could do some experiments with his/her avatar
