I just wanna wish CLAMP the best for the future. They've made a lot of good anime and manga in the past. I don't want anything bad to happen to them; they're just way too awesome. Well, I just hope them member who was diagnosed gets some rest and feels better soon.

I yelled out in empathy pain when I read this article's title, then I cringed. I feel bad about this... I bet that it's Mokona who is injured... she works so hard as lead artist and colorist, hunched over that desk in their studio...
I love all of them, every member of CLAMP has their own awesome unique talents and they are all such interesting people who produce works that almost anyone can enjoy. I hope that the injured party recovers as soon as possible, I'll have CLAMP in my thoughts.

Take all the time needed to get better. Rather that then still going about it and harming not only the work, but yourself. Never compromise yourself if you can help it.

They made the right choice.
I'm an unabashed CLAMP fan but I can deal with the reduction in output. It's far more important for her to take care of herself, even if she needs more time to recover.

As a person who has friends/family members with back pain, I truly know how painful it can be. It's even happened to me several times in my life.
It's very easy just to say "no pain, no gain" and just to muster some strength, but depending on your pain level and if you actually injured yourself, that is not always a good idea.
Being a manga artist is tough, not only mentally, but physically as well. It's a heck of a rewarding job, but there is always a chance you'll get back, wrist and possibly neck pain while doing the job.
I agree though, they made the right choice. It's better to rest now when one member's back is only a minor issue now instead of a constant issue. From my own experience and from what I've seen, rest, gentle stretching and maybe seeing a chiropractor and or doctor could really help. An ice pack also does wonders as well.
