I know this has been topic a many but I must say, Fumoffu is awesome. It is on Anime on Demand (through TAN) which suprised me because it is a fairly new series, no? That one person, who was transilating Sagara's threats was really funny..."...biatch." Well, here is my question: Does the series take place after the first season or like...in the middle...? This series is just a bunch of stand alone episodes right? no continuem? Thats all I really want to know.

people tend to think that it was in the middle of the series, but I'm lead to believe it was after all the events in the first series...
either way, it's a fun fun ride... I wanna see it again 
when I first saw this on fansubs, I sat through the whole thing and really didn't stop laughing, I went home with asthma that day |

It should be in the middle of the series before the terrorist thing.
Some of the episode from Fumoffu were taken directly from the Full Metal Panic manga. |

Hm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Fumoffu is just basically a collection of filler episodes from the first season that had no direct correlation to it's overall plot. These episodes were then made into another "season".
I use the word "season" loosely because, IMO, I wouldn't exactly qualify Fumoffu as a true season. However, that really doesn't hinder the likability factor of this show, though. It's still a fun show to watch and enjoy. |

ahhhh... we'll never really know where Fumoffu was set then...
BUT, remember those episodes: spoiler[ At the springs where the old cast cameos? I was getting this vibe that they haven't seen eachother in a long time, so this is the first hint that tells me that it was AFTER everything in the first season... I could still be wrong though ] |

To my understanding, Full Metal Panic covers all of the Arms Slave battles and other millitary stuff that involves Sosuke protecting Chidori. Fumoffu covers all of the high school hijinks that go down while Sosuke isn't busy playing the role of bodyguard. The manga to Full Metal Panic though, covers both aspects of the series. This is what influenced me in the long run, to just stick with the manga, rather than watching each seperate part as a series. But either way, Full Metal Panic is one of my favorite stories. I fell in love with it when it was debuted in New Type USA about three years ago or so. After I read the preview, I scooped up the manga as soon as I saw it. I am now patiently waiting for volume 8.
